Certified tourism specialist CHE
The study program at the College of Higher Education for Tourism is versatile and prepares you optimally for demanding specialist and management tasks at lower and middle management level in the tourism and leisure industry. Students deal intensively with tourism, its special features and current and future challenges. At the same time, students are encouraged and supported in their personal development. They are able to solve problems creatively and have good social skills.
Compared to university graduates, whose education is scientifically oriented, tourism specialists CHE are strongly oriented towards the labor market and implementation due to their training and the integration of professional experience. Commercial tourism work experience is an important integral part of the course. Thanks to their sound knowledge of tourism and business management, graduates also have a wide range of opportunities in other sectors. With the degree in Tourism Management CHE, students can simultaneously obtain the nationally recognized degree in Business Management VSK (HWD) as well as internationally recognized language diplomas.
We now also offer all of our CHE degree programs as hybrid courses!
- Full-time, 6 semesters (2 years of study, 1 year internship), no practical experience in tourism required
- Full-time compact, 4 semesters (2 years of study), with practical experience in tourism
- Part-time, 6 semesters (3 years of study incl. practical work), with or without practical experience in tourism
Specialist training Travel Advisor
If you want to turn your passion for travel into a career, you need the necessary qualifications. With the Travel Advisor specialist training course, you will acquire the industry-specific skills for exciting commercial activities in travel agencies, tour operators, business travel providers and airlines. The training focuses exclusively on specialized knowledge and is taught by experienced tourism professionals with a practical orientation.
Maximum flexibility:
- Part-time training in 6 months
- 5 guaranteed starts per year
- Shortened follow-up option to become a certified tourism specialist CHE
- Combination of face-to-face and online teaching
