The ABB Technikerschule is a public, market- and performance-oriented educational institution in higher vocational education and training and offers technically trained professionals in-service training courses and postgraduate studies. "From practice - for practice" is our motto.

Our mission is to make an active contribution to the continuing education, further training of specialists and managers. Our educational institution, located in Baden and Sursee, currently trains around 600 students from 330 different companies and is supported by renowned sponsoring companies. Digitalization and state-of-the-art technology are not only taught here, but also experienced and actively applied in our well-equipped laboratories. Knowledge transfer and student support are ensured by qualified lecturers and experienced experts. Using advanced tools such as the mobile basic learning platform, we provide students with in-depth specialist knowledge and a broad range of skills so that they are equipped with the latest technology to meet the challenges of industrial practice and, depending on the subject area, we work closely with partner institutions, universities of applied sciences and other educational organizations and professional organizations.

The ABB Technikerschule was founded in 1971 and has been federally recognized since 1983. Committed to the reputation and tradition of our school, we give top priority to a high-quality, practical and contemporary educational concept. In order to meet future requirements, we are constantly investing in the development and optimization of learning content, methods of knowledge transfer, skills development and practical transfer, as well as in teaching aids.
