Danse Suisse is the professional association for dance professionals in Switzerland. Danse Suisse is committed to the recognition and development/strengthening of the dance professions and accompanies its members in all aspects of their professional careers: training, validation of educational achievements, employment conditions, labor market, means of production, continuing education, physical and psychological integrity and possible retraining. As an organization of the working world for dance training, Danse Suisse vouches for the training plans for stage dancers with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (Federal VET Diploma) and is active in the promotion of young talent.

Focus & activities
Danse Suisse represents the interests of dance in cultural policy and in public. It works together with regional interest groups as well as with numerous institutions, organizations and authorities. It is active in the national cultural umbrella organizations and maintains an international network.
Training & continuing education, further training
Danse Suisse has had a special focus on training and continuing education, further training for many years. For this reason, we initiate training courses and actively support the development of recognized diplomas at various levels. In addition, we organize and advertise current further training courses for professional dancers.
