A CAS Coaching (UAS, UTE) is not a federally recognized qualification, but can be easily compared using the ECTS. The ECTS is a Europe-wide harmonized credit system.

A CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) is a further education qualification from a Universities.

• Duration: Usually 1 semester part-time
• Title: "Certificate of Advanced Studies in (subject)"
• Recognition: International comparability via ECTS points
• ECTS points (European Credit Transfer System = international credit points)

The continuing education, further training CAS Coaching (UAS, UTE) is aimed at people with a degree from a Universities (University, College of Applied Sciences), a College of Higher Education or an Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) and qualified professional experience. They must also be able to apply what they have learned in their profession (transfer orientation).

Applicants with comparable degrees / comparable professional experience have the option of admission "sur dossier".
