In addition to full-time study, the Aviation course can also be studied as a:

• practice-integrated Bachelor's degree program and
• part-time studies (recommendation for workload: max. 60%)

The Bachelor's degree in Aviation at a university of applied sciences offers students the opportunity to choose an international profile after the first year of study. You will take some modules in English, obtain the English language diploma at level C1 and spend some time abroad, for example for a semester abroad, a professional internship or to write your Bachelor's thesis. Prospective engineers who do not wish to choose the international profile also have the opportunity to gain international experience during a semester or internship abroad.

In order to be admitted to the Bachelor's degree program in Aviation, prospective students need either a completed apprenticeship in a related profession with a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, a Baccalaureate with at least one year of relevant professional experience or an internship contract with an aviation company. After the basic studies / assessment, which teaches you the subject-specific basics, you can decide in the fourth semester on a focus that you would like to set in your future semesters of your aviation studies. This in-depth specialist training takes place in the fifth and sixth semesters and can be chosen with the following specializations:

• Operational Engineering

It is also possible to train as a commercial pilot during your studies.

Licenses are not automatically issued to graduates of the Aviation course. If you are interested in obtaining a commercial pilot's license, it is possible for you to complete this license training during your Bachelor's degree course, provided you pass an aptitude test.
