The Academy for Mindfulness and Resilience in Lenzburg is regarded as an innovative center for mindfulness in Switzerland. The aim of the academy is to accompany and train people on the path to mindfulness and greater resilience. The diverse, unique offering includes continuing education, further training at university level (CAS, DAS, MAS), MBSR courses, workshops, lectures, seminars and personal coaching. The academy is aimed at companies, administrations, schools, organizations, associations, clubs and, of course, individuals.

The owners of the Academy for Mindfulness & Resilience (Achtsamkeit Schweiz AG) are Tanja Taugwalder and Joe Taugwalder. They have been involved with mindfulness topics for many years and live the inner attitude both privately and professionally.

The entire Academy for Mindfulness and Resilience is accredited with the eduPROVED seal of approval. It guarantees continuing education formats with the highest level of quality and high scientific standards.

A large number of leadership training courses are CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) courses, but by no means all of them. A large number of training courses are certificate courses offered by schools, courses leading to Federal Professional Examination (AFPE), Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) or the diploma of a College of Higher Education. Other training courses are also available, such as postgraduate studies in Higher Education (NDS-CHE). And that is exactly what a CAS is, a postgraduate course of study at a University of Applied Sciences. This also means that these certificate courses are primarily aimed at people who already have a university degree or comparable training, who have many years of sound experience in leadership and who are prepared to undergo intensive, in-service leadership training, usually over the course of one semester. A CAS is therefore a continuing education, further training course for managers who want to acquire comprehensive knowledge and skills on a very specific topic, for example in CAS Corporate Responsibility / Social Management or Transcultural Communication.

By attending two further certificate courses, the CAS Resilience Training can lead to the MAS (Master of Advanced Studies) Intercultural Coaching and Supervision. For 2016, these are the CAS Intercultural Coaching and CAS Supervision and Team Coaching courses. However, the selection of individual CAS courses may change, so please contact the relevant schools directly for exact details.
