Nature coaching is an alternative coaching approach and combines traditional coaching with nature experiences. The coachees (people who take advantage of coaching) experience coaching in the great outdoors, which positively addresses the levels of mind, emotion and body. The coachee's individual potential and solution resources are thus optimally activated. The coach uses classic coaching techniques in combination with the natural environment, for example by integrating symbols from nature or working with materials from nature.

During a preliminary meeting, various topics such as the coachee's concerns and expectations, the objectives, the nature coach's approach, the framework conditions and the next steps are discussed. Various methods can be used during a nature coaching session, such as nature walks, the use of analogies and metaphors or learning to read nature. The nature coaches provide help for self-help.
