Wie lange dauert eine Neurofeedback-Ausbildung?

Neurofeedback is part of biofeedback and is also known as EEG feedback or EEG biofeedback. It involves measuring and influencing brain activity. This form of therapy is used for children, adolescents and adults when attention deficits in everyday life cause problems of various kinds and learning blocks occur. Good results can also be achieved with this form of therapy for burnout patients, sleep disorders, frequent headaches or depression. In the case of AD(H)S sufferers in particular, investigations and studies on brain waves have revealed significant differences compared to non-conspicuous test subjects. In these cases, the brain waves can be positively influenced by neurofeedback. Neurofeedback training is therefore an interesting addition to the services offered by many therapists.

During the therapy session, the client's brain waves are measured by connecting them to an EEG (brain wave image). The brain waves and brain activity can then be seen and heard on a computer. The clients are then shown films or computer games where a task has to be completed. As soon as the computer measures the desired frequencies, the movie or game continues. Both are controlled solely by the brain waves. This interaction leads to good training results which have a positive effect on thinking, concentration, perception and endurance.

Basically, it can be said that therapists who acquire the skills to offer this form of therapy professionally during neurofeedback training can achieve sustainable and long-term success with their clients without medication. Children and adolescents in particular respond very well to neurofeedback, as they develop a high level of intrinsic motivation through interaction with film and play.
