The former MarKom certification exam tested basic knowledge in marketing, communication, sales, and business. It was administered for the last time on December 5, 2023. The certificate is a prerequisite for admission to the federal final exams for the aforementioned programs. However, other equivalent educational qualifications are also accepted. Anyone aged 18 or older is eligible to take the exam. Prior educational background or work experience is not a factor.
The MarKom exam is taken on a computer and consists of multiple-choice questions. The exam covers the topics of business administration, economics, law, marketing, sales and distribution, marketing communications, and public relations.
On eduGames, you can test your knowledge. There are 25 questions available for each of the topics mentioned above. Your results are displayed immediately after you answer the questions. This way, you’ll find out right away whether you would have passed the MarKom exam.
