The event technician training course comprises a total of five modules (A-E), whereby modules D and E are completed depending on the chosen specialization, i.e. stage or lighting.

The other modules cover topics such as organizing an event, drawing up technical plans or ensuring safety.

The professional examination to become an event technician opens doors to further training or further education at higher vocational training or university level. The following conditions must be met in order to train as an event technician with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education (Federal Professional Examination):

• Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training / tertiary level or equivalent qualification and at least three years of professional experience in event technology in the field of stage / lighting (depending on focus)
