The SIZ user course is suitable for newcomers to IT. You can acquire a good basic user training in computer science. You will learn how to use the PC as a work tool. You learn:

• Setting up a workstation, using the Internet and e-mail, security and file organization.
• prepare and design information for an effective presentation.
• Basics of document design for the creation of written work and simple calculations with spreadsheet programs.

Anyone who has successfully passed the ICT Smart User SIZ examination can build on this by taking the ICT Power User SIZ diploma. This diploma can be chosen with three different specializations: Web, Office and Systems & Network.

The duration of preparation for the ICT Smart User SIZ exam can vary depending on the school and training model. As a rule, at least 40 lessons are taught, with some providers even providing almost 90 lessons for the training.
