The example salary for a real estate valuer (FPE) in our calculation is CHF 7,027. Now go back to the "Training" section and select "Higher Vocational Training / College of Higher Education", resulting in a new average salary of CHF 7,703. If you also select "Lower Management" for the position in the company, this results in an average salary of CHF 8,269.

Johanna prepares the balance sheet and income statement as well as budgeting for the management of rental and condominium properties. Johanna would like to develop in the direction of real estate valuation and acquire the necessary knowledge. To this end, she is completing continuing education, further training to become a real estate valuer. The one-and-a-half-year continuing education, further training course teaches Johanna about business administration, law, construction and real estate valuation. With the knowledge she has acquired, she will be able to prepare analyses of real estate, properties, assets or facilities in the future. A valuation report will be prepared for the client. After completing the Federal Professional Examination, Johanna will be able to check the condition, building materials, components and structures as well as calculate areas and volumes as a real estate valuer. By clarifying other relevant factors such as the market situation, land register entries and building law, Johanna can draw up binding valuations with the federal certificate as a real estate valuer. With the recognized qualification after completing the "Real Estate Appraiser (FPE)" course, she secures a responsible job in real estate valuation, better earning potential and opportunities for further development.
As a real estate valuer, Johanna will receive CHF 1,765 more per month than before and will therefore have at least CHF 838,000 more at her disposal by the time she retires than if she had not done any continuing education, further training.
