Are you looking for a suitable training provider for your training or further training as a recruiter?

Here on Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch you can quickly and easily find numerous suitable training opportunities and offers from relevant schools in the field of personnel consulting etc.

Recruiter, headhunter, staffing agency... Different titles - one profession

Well-trained recruiters - also known as headhunters or recruitment agencies - would be indispensable in today's working world. Their job is to find suitable personnel for companies with open positions. After a successful placement, the headhunters receive an appropriate commission from the companies - especially as the companies are spared the time-consuming advertising and application process. The recruiters' daily tasks also include the acquisition of vacancies, the creation of a suitable and individual job profile and the comparison with existing applications from jobseekers. Recruiters are also responsible for any profiling. In doing so, they always keep their goal in mind: a successful contract conclusion, which is a win-win situation for all parties involved and creates an employment relationship.

Unlike employment agencies, headhunters are not sought out by jobseekers, but are commissioned by the employers themselves. It is therefore clear that they are paid by the employers for their services. Companies therefore seek out recruitment agencies in order to save time and money on the often lengthy and sometimes fruitless process of advertising and reviewing applications. Recruitment agencies are always aware that time is money for companies and only suggest candidates for an interview who are 100% suitable for the job profile.

Headhunters are expected to have many personality strengths. They should have an ideologically neutral attitude, enjoy communicating and always have a professional demeanor. Good self-organization and flawless deadline management are other very important characteristics of recruiters.

Questions and answers

In continuing education, further training as a recruiter, participants are generally taught the following content:

  • Recruiting basics (e.g. role and tasks in the recruiting process, overview of the labor market and trends, differences between internal vs. external recruiting)
  • Job requirement & advertisement (e.g. creation of requirement profiles in cooperation with specialist departments, writing attractive and search engine optimized job advertisements, selection of suitable recruitment channels (job portals, social media, internal platforms))
  • Active sourcing & talent acquisition (e.g. direct approach via LinkedIn, XING & Co., development and maintenance of talent pools)
  • Applicant management & communication (e.g. selection procedure and applicant selection, conducting interviews (by telephone, digitally, in person), communication with applicants (feedback, rejections, invitations))
  • Law & data protection
  • Interview techniques & conducting interviews (e.g. also dealing with difficult interview situations)
  • Key figures & recruiting controlling
  • Employer branding & onboarding

As the training content can vary depending on the school (offer, degree and target group), it is advisable to find out more in advance. Quickly, easily and without obligation via our contact form. Alternatively, you can use the "Ask a question" button to speak directly to the right contact person at the school.

Recruitment is essential nowadays because the job market has fundamentally changed. Prospective candidates are looking for the perfect job at the right moment and need to be convinced by the prospective employer that this job is exactly what they are looking for. Branding, the candidate experience and many other topics play a role in this.

To be able to work in recruitment and personnel consulting, you need both theoretical background knowledge and practical expertise. A recruiter course offers exactly this. It provides course participants with the necessary knowledge for conducting job interviews, acquisition, cycle planning for permanent and temporary positions, conducting market research projects and applying efficient working techniques.

The recruiter training course is aimed at people who would like to work as recruitment consultants or recruitment agencies in the future and want to acquire the necessary knowledge in a targeted training course. Participants should be at least 20 years old and have German as their mother tongue. In addition, general professional experience of two years is required, as well as a great willingness to learn, motivation and sociability.

Certain professional experience is generally not required for training as a recruiter.

However, the admission requirements are set independently by the schools. There may therefore be differences depending on the provider, offer and target group.

We therefore recommend that you contact the school of your choice directly via our contact form or use the "Ask a question" button to get in touch with the right contact person.

The continuing education, further training to become a recruiter takes about three months.

However, this varies from provider to provider, as they put together their courses independently and define the key points themselves.

We therefore recommend that you contact the school of your choice directly via our contact form or use the "Ask a question" button to get in touch with the right contact person.
